buying a horse
Our procedure for horse sales:
A non-refundable deposit of 10% of the purchase price will hold your horse for 7 days. This is to allow time for buyers to finalize purchasing plans, make arrangements for veterinarian inspections and transportation plans, etc. Fine Life Horses is more than happy to answer any questions, supply a sales contract for perusal, welcomes any veterinarian inspection (at buyers expense) before a deposit is made, but please understand that once a deposit is placed, the party placing the deposit will lock out any other interested buyers for the period of 7 days. If a buyer defaults, if sales plans are not finalized, or if the buyer willingly opts out of finalizing the sale within the deposit time period of 7 days, the horse will be made available for a new deposit/for sale to another party.
Once a deposit has been placed on a horse, and final sales plans are arranged, the horse will be marked as “sale pending” until the horse is paid in full.
Coggins tests and health certificates needed for interstate transportation are to be paid at buyers expense.
No horse will leave the property until paid for in-full.
